This is my girl, Mackenzie! Just before graduating high school, Mac was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma B-Cell.

“Our daughter has went through so many tests and what I think is trial and error in troubleshooting what we thought at first was severe abdominal pains and pancreatitis. We never thought for one second that we would be about to face one of the the most devastating things a parent would have to endure which would be childhood cancer. I always knew that my daughter was a strong young woman with an incredibly strong Christian faith, but for the past month I have realized how little I knew about her strengths. Her strength has been an inspiration to me. As parents we try our best to protect our kids from harm and danger but this has left me feeling helpless. I know that we are at the right place now, and St Jude will help us kick Cancers Ass! I thank God for that everyday. Times like these build character in us all and continue to make us stronger as we go through life. “ -Ashlynn Lusk(Mac’s Mom)
